No school today, instead we are meeting at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery for our field trip. Meeting at the hatchery by 9:45, first group of students will go on the tour at 10am, the other group will visit the troll at this time, then we will swap and the other group will attend the tour at 11am. Optional: meeting for lunch at noon, and students can enjoy play time.

Enrollment decisions at DPM are based on several considerations beyond the application date. Priority is given, whenever possible, to families with siblings already enrolled and to those committed to continuing Montessori education with us through the elementary years. A child’s age is also taken into account to help maintain balanced classrooms, along with each child’s readiness and the family’s support of Montessori practices at home. Before enrollment is confirmed, prospective families are invited to participate in a classroom observation, followed by a meet and greet with the teacher to ensure the best possible fit.

Because of these factors, placement and availability cannot be guaranteed for future enrollment periods.
