- Consistent TA in Teacher Kris’ Classroom: looking for teacher helpers that can commit to once or twice per week for 2 hours per day to help with various projects and activities planned for the kiddos.
- Scrapbooking: decorating colored pages to have them ready for teachers to paste work, pictures, and blurbs onto
- Building: calling all handy folks interested in helping to plan and build treehouses on campus
- Recess duty: Recess volunteers that can commit to monthly, weekly, or daily recess help from 12:30-1:30.
- Substitutes: do you have experience working with children, will pass a background check, are friendly and calm, can lead with a gentle demeanor, and are ready to assist with classroom management? Then you may be interested in subbing for teacher assistant positions at DPM!
- Events: set-up and tear-down help needed as well as a few folks interested in event planning
- Clean-up & fix-up day– this is when we get together to tackle a myriad of projects on campus! Usually tackling blackberry growth, weeds, holes, rocks, and beautifying the grounds.
- Painting/staining: anyone interested in tackling staining the benches and painting doors and trim to make them look new again!
- Washing white fences: we have fences surrounding the pastures that get mucked up and need some love during the year.
