DPM Closed: Meeting at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery at 9:45am: Keep the Salmon Coming Home (issaquahfish.org)

1st group will tour at 10am while the other group will visit Jakob Two Trees, https://www.issaquahwa.gov/3426/Jakob-Two-Trees-Issaquahs-Troll

followed by snack/lunch in Gibson Park

2nd group tour starts at 12pm, 1st group will then head to Gibson Park for lunch, and then visit Jakob Two Trees.

For 2024-2025 school year:
We don’t anticipate changes with enrollment in the primary classroom (ages 3-6). Currently full. We are accepting applications for Lower Elementary (ages 6-9) and Upper Elementary (ages 9-11) for 2024 and beyond.

For 2025-2026:
We currently have several students in the waiting pool to schedule observations and tours (ages 3-6). Again, Lower and Upper elementary are accepting applications.

We say waiting pool because there are a few factors contributing to enrollment, aside from date of application. We try to give priority to families with siblings already currently enrolled, families who intend to do Montessori through the elementary years here at DPM, the child’s age to ensure a balanced classroom, the commitment to Montessori practices at home, and there is an observation of the prospective student in the classroom with the teacher that takes place prior to enrollment.

For that reason, it is impossible to say for sure whether there’s space available until admissions decisions have been made in January. That’s when the enrollment invitation goes out to families who have completed the process and who’s kiddos are eligible to start in the following school year.
