She has experience working as the Recording Secretary for MIA and presenting lessons to teachers as well as students. Heather followed her love for children into the classroom. A Montessori student herself, her three children grew up in the Montessori Environment. They carry their primary and elementary lessons with them in life.
During Covid, Heather opened a Montessori Cohort in her home and fell in love with Outdoor Education. She earned her Wilderness First Responder Certification from North Idaho College and continued to work with Mentors in North Idaho, as a Program Director, to learn more about Nature Connections.
Heather joins Dancing Pines Montessori School with two decades of Montessori experience. Heather enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, gardening, reading, writing, and sailing with her children. With a toolbelt of Natural Wonders, she incorporates Environmental learning into the Primary Curriculum and her daily life.
