After working in the Federal Way School District for eight years, Kate felt the pull to start working with younger children and found herself teaching preschool. She has an extra passion for parent education, developmentally appropriate learning, and all things pertaining to neurodiversity.
In addition to teaching, Kate has also served as a childbirth educator & birth doula, a dyslexia tutor, and a popular babysitter for local families. When she is not wrangling children, Kate can be found traveling the country with her husband and three children in their trusty motorhome. Most often she can be found lounging outside with a good book or cuddling with her two goofy dogs.
