Kris Thompson received her BA in English education from Central Washington University in 2005 and her special education credential from Seattle Pacific University in 2009. In addition, she recently completed her Montessori certification for ages 6-12 (lower and upper elementary) through MITESV.
Kris’ three children all attend DPM and were her gateway into the Montessori teaching method. Kris enjoys gardening, reading, singing, and hiking in her copious amounts of spare time. She is married to Erick and lives in Renton with her family, which includes two derpy dogs and two unruly cats.
Fun Facts:
She loves all things geeky and enjoys making her kids cosplay at ECCC every year. She also loves rainbows and sparkly things and is a relentless nerd who advocates for “staying weird.”
